Davies Steel Design now specialize in Custom Interior Design. Using the same methods of planning, design, Customer service and Installtion that have served us well since our creation, we are now working with property developers in Manhattan, New York, on projects of varying sizes.

The L-Gallery Studio was our first project. The use of steel creates and amazing finish, transforming a bland studio envrionment into an elegant showpiece. There is also an indoor garden at the bottom of an elevator shaft and Medieval style drawbridge (photos coming soon), that actually raises and lowers and is made out of glass, allowing you to view the indoor garden at all times.

The L Gallery Logo was transformed from their business card and a scale replica reproduced and mounted to the wall, retaining its rusty, steel looks. There are two in the Gallery in different locations, we can transform any Logo for your business into a hand crafted design, using precision TIG Welding and Plasma cutting techniques. |

The make up table is a completely bespoke design, you will not find another one like it. The mirror surround is hand crafted from 6 inch wide, quarter inch thick steel plate and is in total 50 foot long, this is coated with Linseed oil to give it an aged appearance. The mirror is drilled and the lights mounted too it, so there are no cables visible, keeping the sleek, minimal design that one would associate with a photo studio. |

Taken from another angle. The legs are wound with 3/16" diameter steel bar and steel vine leaves welded to them to cover the harshness of raw steel and to bring them to life. The counter is polished stainless steel mounted on a frame that is completely removable allowing space to be opened for a shoot. |

The Shower and Sauna space was also built by Davies Steel Design. Although no steel was used, we still use our design process to get the most out of any small area and create new useable, beautiful space. Both the shower and sauna work and are regularly used for Photo shoots. |
